Akouboo A. Douw is a postgraduate astrophysics researcher, founder of Iyaboko Science, and former cofounder of PowerWells.
Mr Douw provided the main inspiration for the PowerWells invention, first imagined during the Logan Social Enterprise StartUp Weekend. That early direction connected recycled battery technology, solar energy, and practical support for communities without reliable electricity.
This experience shaped IYABOKO’s long-term direction: turning serious scientific and social ideas into structured real-world systems, from energy access and hardware thinking to AI Workspace, CoreOS, consulting, and future software/hardware pathways.
